6 things you might have missed from ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season Finale

1. Bronn and Podrick exit stage left for no apparent reason

“C’mon Pod. Why don’t you and me go have a drink while the fancy folk talk?” Bronn asks the young man before they exit the old dragon coup. Weird, right? Why are main players’ seconds leaving the ring when a fight could erupt at any moment?  Cersei and Bronn were once a real-life couple — allegedly, they ended really, really badly. So badly, in fact, that they’re rarely in the same room on set and have only been in one scene together over the duration of the whole show. Guess they weren’t about to make it two –  Reddit.

2. Winterfell, Sansa and Arya repeat a quote their father Ned Stark said in season one

In Winterfell, Sansa and Arya repeat a quote their father Ned Stark said in season one. Sansa says to Arya “When the lone wolf dies the pack survives”. Ned Stark says the same thing on the first season “A Game of Thrones”

3. Sansa and Arya atop the walls, it mirrors a similar shot

We’ve seen that shot of Arya and Sansa debriefing Littlefinger’s demise at the top of Winterfell before. Speaking of that shot of Sansa and Arya atop the walls, it mirrors a similar shot in the season six finale with Sansa and Jon Snow.

4. Cersei hired the Golden Company

Cersei hired the Golden Company to help her fight Daenerys. Jorah mormont used to be the part of Golden Company. In previous season Daenerys asked Jorah Mormont “Didn’t you fight for the Golden company before you pledging your sword to my brother”. He replied saying “Yes I Did”. Golden company also founded by a Targaryan Bastard: Aegon Rivers.

5. Cersei didn’t touch the wine glass Tyrion handed her.

Tyrion heads for the bar cart to decompress from the tension after realizing that Cersei won’t have the Mountain end him after all . He drains a glass of wine before Cersei offers. She doesn’t touch it — but goes on to place her hand on her stomach, prompting Tyrion’s statement: “You’re pregnant.” It’s unclear whether or not pregnant women drink in the Game of Thrones universe, but her abstinence could be an exaggerated moment of truth-telling. Despite the negatory rumors, she might actually be with child.

6. Bran says Jon’s real name is Aegon Targaryen

Bran told Sam that Jon’s real name is Aegon Targaryen. This would make him Raegar’s second son named Aegon. He also had a infant son name Aegon with Elia Martell. Whom was said to have been murdered by The Mountain.
